    This is the story of a star. A star who had her own universe, small yet beautiful. She was the centre of it and she was happy.  But fate had some other plans.

    One day, she saw a light so bright that it almost blinded her.. That was the day when a new star came around. The star was so strong and so beautiful that all she wanted was to follow him.  Without a doubt, she scattered her universe and went along with him, made his universe her own. She was happy and everything was almost perfect.

    But the 'almost' made all the difference. Slowly she realized what she had done.. She understood that she was about to lose herself in a place where she did not belong.. The happy days were rare already.. She realized how even though she was needed there, it wasn't her place. As the days passed, she felt the need of her own universe more and more.

    Strong, as she always was, decided to correct the mistake. It took a lot of courage to take the step but she knew she had to go back and recreate her world. But she did it. She came out of his universe and made one of her own, once again. Yes, she still admired him from a distance, but she did not feel the need to be so near anymore. And the stupid, stubborn star was happy again, felt needed again, felt the world growing around her, all over again.
This is my first attempt to write a short story, it is more of a thought though. Hope it's not terrible.
